The Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) was founded in 1986 as the marketing arm of the Northeast Florida Builders Association. We strive to bring Builder, Developers, Lenders, Marketing and Sales Professionals together in order to network and grow their businesses. Currently we are the largest SMC in the Nation.

Our monthly breakfast meetings host national speakers including John Palumbo, Bill Herring, Meredith Oliver, John Chappelear, and Mayor John Peyton to say a few. At these monthly breakfasts we are able to bring between 235-450 industry professionals together in order to receive sales awards, network, and hear inspiring speakers.

The Sales and Marketing Council is continually planning new ways to give back to our community. We support Daniel, Builders Care and Safe Harbor. Through opportunities like the Benefit Auction, Builders Care Day, School Supply Drive, Turkey Trot, Scholarship Program and Teddy Bear collection we are able to make a difference in these individuals lives.

Through the education program we offer you able to earn different designations including Member Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM), Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) and Master CSP. Each of the classes that we offer also includes continuing education credit for your FL real estate License.

Throughout the year we have several networking events including going to Dave and Busters, having an outdoor movie night, Bowling Challenge and more. During the networking events we hope that you are able to make connections and reinforce friendships in order to grow and strengthen your business.

Finally, each year we take time to recognize everyone in our industry who has worked so hard over the last year at our annual awards show, The Laurel Awards. There are laughs, tears of joy, and memorable moments had by all. This event showcases the "best of the best" in our industry in hope of inspiring and commemorating our members.
